This distinguished election is a significant recognition of Engr. Jani Ibrahim's leadership within the organised private sector and his commitment to strengthening the role of Chambers of Commerce in advancing trade, investment and economic cooperation across West Africa.

The NB-CCI is particularly pleased that the leadership of FEWACCI has been entrusted to a Nigerian business leader at a time when regional trade integration, private-sector collaboration, trade facilitation and stronger business-to-business connections are increasingly important to the economic development of West Africa.

The Chamber is also pleased to note that Prince Adetokunbo Kayode, Co-Founder and Special Adviser of the NB-CCI, was present at the FEWACCI Annual General Meeting (AGM) in his capacity as Special Adviser to FEWACCI, where Engr. Jani Ibrahim emerged as President of the Federation. His presence at the AGM further reflects the NB-CCI's longstanding commitment to regional Chamber cooperation and the advancement of private-sector interests across West Africa.

As a bilateral Chamber operating at the intersection of Nigeria–Benin trade and the wider West African business community, the NB-CCI looks forward to working closely with the leadership of NACCIMA and FEWACCI in advancing practical initiatives that promote greater intra-West African trade, investment, regional value-chain development, trade facilitation and stronger institutional cooperation among Chambers across the sub-region.

The Chamber also looks forward to contributing to the new FEWACCI leadership's efforts to strengthen connections among Chambers, businesses and private-sector institutions, while creating more opportunities for enterprises to participate meaningfully in regional and international markets.
